2. Disconnect oil temperature line (3) from the valve. Disconnect clip (1) from the valve.3. Disconnect tube assembly (2) from the valve. Remove the O-ring seal from the tube assembly. 4. Remove three bolts (5) that hold the valve in position. Remove outlet relief valve (4). Remove the two O-ring seals in the valve body. Check the condition of the seals. If the seals have damage, use new parts for replacement.Install Torque Converter Outlet Relief Valve (Power Shift)
1. Install two new O-ring seals in the valve body. Put clean oil on the seals. Put valve (1) in position in the torque divider and install the three bolts that hold it. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 40 4 lb.ft. (55 5 N m).2. Install the O-ring seal in tube assembly (2). Connect tube assembly (2) to the valve. 3. Install oil temperature line (4) in the valve. Connect clip (3) to the top of the valve.4. Install the floor plate on the machine.Disassemble Torque Converter Outlet Relief Valve (Power Shift)
start by:a) remove torque converter outlet relief valve (power shift) 1. Remove two bolts (6) and cover (5).2. Remove seal (4) from cover (5).3. Remove spring (3), spacers (2) and valve spool assembly (1). 4. Remove ring (10), retainer (9), spring (8) and plunger (7) from the valve spool.Assemble Torque Converter Outlet Relief Valve (Power Shift)
1. Make sure all of the parts of the torque converter outlet relief valve are clean and free of dirt and foreign material. 2. Install plunger (2), spring (3), retainer (4) and snap ring (5) in valve spool (1). 3. Install valve spool assembly (7), spacers (8) and spring (9) in body (6).4. Put seal (11) in cover (10).5. Install the cover and the two bolts and washers that hold the cover in position.end by:a) install torque converter outlet relief valve (power shift)
