2. Remove oil tube (1) from the torque divider scavenge pump.3. Remove the six bolts (2) and washers that hold the torque divider scavenge pump in position. 4. Install two 3/8"-16 NC forcing screws (3) in the pump. Tighten the screws evenly until the pump is loose. Remove torque divider scavenge pump (4).Install Torque Divider Scavenge Pump (Power Shift)
1. Put a new gasket (2) in position on the torque divider.2. Put the torque divider scavenge pump in position on the torque divider. Make sure the gear on the torque divider scavenge pump (1) engages with the drive gear. 3. Install the six bolts (4) and washers that hold the torque divider scavenge pump in position.4. Connect the oil tube (3) to the torque divider scavenge pump.5. Fill the torque divider with oil to the correct le el. start by:a) remove torque divider scavenge pump (power shift) 1. Remove nut (2) and lock from the shaft.2. Loosen bolts (1). Remove cover (3). 3. Remove gear and shaft (4) from the cover. Remove bearings (5) from the cover. 4. Remove ring (7) from the shaft. Remove gear (8) and key (6) from the shaft.5. Disassemble the other shaft in the torque divider scavenge pump. Follow Step 4 to disassemble the shaft. 6. Remove gear (9) with tooling (A).7. Remove the bearings from the body.Assemble Torque Divider Scavenge Pump (Power Shift)
1. Install the bearings in cover (1) with tooling (A). Install the bearings until they are .12 in. (3.1 mm) below the machined surface of the cover.2. Install the bearings in the body assembly with tooling (A). Install the bearings until they are .12 in. (3.0 mm) below the inside surface of the body assembly. 3. Put ring (2) on the shaft. Install key (3) and gear (4) on the shaft. Install ring (5).4. Assemble the other shaft. Follow Step 2 to assemble the shaft.5. Put clean SAE 30 oil on the parts of the torque divider scavenge pump.6. Install shaft and gear in the body. 7. Install shaft and gear (6) in the cover.8. Put bolts (8) and locks in the body.9. Heat gear (10) to a maximum temperature of 300°F (149°C). Install the gear on the shaft.10. Put the body on the cover. Tighten bolts (8) and bend the locks over the bolts. Install washer (11) and nut (9). Tighten the nut to a torque of 40 4 lb.ft. (55 5 N m).
