Information:

start by:a) tilt cab back (if so equipped) *b) remove Roll-Over Protective Structure (if so equipped) *c) remove dashd) remove universal joint (power shift)e) remove sequence relief valve (power shift)f) remove torque converter outlet relief valve (power shift)g) remove lubrication relief valve (power shift)*These operations are in the Operator's Station Disassembly and Assembly Section.1. Drain the oil from the bevel gear case. 2. Remove two brake control rods (2).3. Remove two steering clutch control rods (1). 4. Remove tube assembly (4).5. Disconnect elbow (6) from the rear of the transmission.6. Remove tube assembly (5).7. Remove clip (3). Move heater hoses away from the transmission. 8. Disconnect rod assemblies (7) and (8) from the transmission. Disconnect wires (9) for the backup alarm. 9. Fasten a tool (A) to the top of the transmission as shown. Fasten a hoist to tool (A).10. Remove nuts (10) and washers that hold the transmission to the bevel gear case. Remove transmission and transfer gears (11) as a unit. The weight of the unit is 1000 lb. (450 kg).11. Remove the O-ring seal from the groove in the transfer gear case. Check the condition of the seal. If the seal has damage, use a new part for replacement.Install Transmission And Transfer Gears (Power Shift)
1. Fasten a hoist and tool (A) to the transmission and transfer gears. Install a new O-ring seal (1) in the groove on the transfer gear case. 2. Put transmission and transfer gears (2) in position in the bevel gear case. Install the nuts and washers that hold the unit in position. 3. Connect rod assemblies (3) and (4) to the transmission. If necessary, make adjustments to the transmission hydraulic control valves and linkage. See Control Valves and Linkage Adjustment in Power Shift Transmission Testing and Adjusting. 4. Put the heater hoses in position above the transmission and install clip (5).5. Fasten elbow (7) to the rear of the transmission.6. Install tube assemblies (6) and (8). 7. Install brake control rods (10) and steering clutch control rods (9).end by:a) install lubrication relief valve (power shift)b) install torque converter outlet relief valve (power shift)c) install sequence relief valve (power shift)d) install universal joint (power shift)e) install dashf) install Roll-Over Protective Structure (if so equipped) *g) tilt cab forward (if so equipped) **These operations are in the Operator's Station Disassembly and Assembly Section.
