Dash and service meter was removed for photo purposes only. 1. Remove four bolts (1) and lockwashers and remove plate (2) from the top of the dash. 2. Loosen locknut (4). Remove steering clutch control rod (5) from rod end (3). Remove locknut (4) from control rod (5) and remove the steering clutch control rod from the dash. 3. Remove two bolts (6) and remove the roller and bracket assembly from the dash. 4. Remove cotter pin and pin (7). Remove rod end (3) from the dash. 5. Remove cotter pin and pin (8) which fasten the steering clutch linkage to lever (9). Remove cotter pin and pin (10) which fasten the brake linkage to pedal (11). 6. Remove bolt (14), lockwasher and lock. Remove ground wire (13). Remove plug (12). 7. Install a 3/8"-16 NC bolt (15), 6 inches long in the shaft as shown. Pull the shaft out of the dash. Remove lever (9), pedal (11) and seven washers. 8. Remove two bearings from lever (9) with tooling (A). 9. Remove two bearings from brake pedal (11) with tooling (A). 10. Remove cotter pin and pin (18) which fasten the steering clutch linkage to bellcrank (16). Remove cotter pin and pin (19) which fasten the brake linkage to bellcrank (17). 11. Remove bolt, lockwasher and lock (21). Remove shaft (20), steering clutch bellcrank (16), washer and brake bellcrank (17). 12. Remove two bearings from steering clutch bellcrank (16) with tooling (A). 13. Remove two bearings from brake bellcrank (17) with tooling (A). 14. Remove three bolts (22) and lockwashers. Remove plate (23), boot and linkage rods from the dash.Install Steering Clutch Linkage And Brake Linkage
Dash and service meter was removed for photo purposes only. 1. Install the linkage rods, boot and plate (1) in the dash with three bolts and lockwashers. 2. Install two bearings in brake bellcrank (2) with tooling (A). The bearings must be installed to a depth of .051 .020 in. (1.30 0.51 mm) below the surface of the bellcrank. 3. Install two bearings in steering clutch bellcrank (3) with tooling (A). The bearings must be installed to a depth of .050 in. (1.27 mm) below the surface of the bellcrank. 4. Install brake bellcrank (2), washer (4) and steering clutch bellcrank (3) in the dash with shaft (5). Install the lock, lockwasher and bolt which holds the shaft in position. 5. Connect bellcranks to linkage rods with pins (6) and cotter pins. 6. Install two bearings in brake pedal (7) with tooling (A). The bearings must be installed to a depth of .051 .020 in. (1.30 0.51 mm) below the surface of the brake pedal. 7. Install two bearings in lever (8) with tooling (A). The bearings must be installed to a depth of .050 in. (1.27 mm) below the surface of the lever. 8. Install a 3/8"-16 NC bolt (9), 6 inches long in shaft (10). Push the shaft through the opening in the side of
