HOSE BK 4568462 - Caterpillar

1. Remove four bolts (1) and lockwashers. Remove plate (2) from top of the dash. 2. Remove gauges as follows: a) Disconnect two wires (5) from the back of gauge (4) and put identification on them.b) Remove two nuts (6) and retainer (3).c) Remove gauge from the front of the instrument panel. 3. Remove fuse holders as follows: a) Disconnect two wires (9) from fuse holder (7) and put identification on them.b) Remove nut (8) from fuse holder (7).c) Remove the fuse holder from the instrument panel. 4. Remove switches as follows: a) Remove screw which fastens knob (10) to the switch and remove the knob.b) Remove nut (11) and remove the switch from the back of the instrument panel. c) Remove wires (13) connected to switch (12) and put identification on them. 5. Remove the instrument panel lights as follows: a) Remove lens and socket (14) from the dash as shown. b) Pull socket assembly (15) out of the lens assembly (16).Install Instrument Panel
The dash was removed for photo purposes only. 1. Install the instrument panel lights as follows: a) Install socket and bulb assembly (1) in lens assembly (2). b) Install light assembly (3) in dash. 2. Install switches as follows:a) Connect wires to the correct terminals on switch (4). b) Put the switch in position in the instrument panel and install nut (5).c) Install knob (6) on the switch with screw. 3. Install fuse holders as follows: a) Put fuse holder (7) on position in the instrument panel and install nut (8).b) Connect wires to the correct terminals on the fuse holder. 4. Install gauges as follows: a) Put gauge (9) in position in the instrument panel.b) Install retainer (10) on the back of the gauge with two nuts.c) Connect wires to the correct terminals on the gauge. 5. Install plate (11) on the top of the dash with four bolts and lockwashers.
