The generator set can be installed with two different control panels, EMCP or an MCS control panel. Both control panels have a stop button built into the panels.Before stopping the engine remove the load. Allow the engine operate at a no load speed for 3 minutes before stopping the engine. Press the stop button (2) on the control panel. The engine will go into a cool down mode before stopping.
Pressing and holding the stop button for seconds will by pass the cool down period. Note: The engine can be programmed to auto start. Ensure that the power supply is isolated before any service or repair is performed.

Open the circuit breaker and remove the load from the generator.
When possible, allow the engine to operate without load for 3 minutes, in order to cool the engine. Note: Pressing the stop key bypasses the cooldown period.
Press and release the "Stop" key (3).
The LCD display will indicate "STOPPING". Note: If the engine fails to stop running, the LCD display will indicate "STOP FAILURE". The alarm will sound.
Once the engine has stopped, the LCD display will indicate "STOPPED". Note: The engine can be programmed to auto start. Ensure that the power supply is isolated before any service or repair is performed.
Turn the isolator keyswitch (1) to the OFF position.
