Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Inspect the condition of the O-ring seals. Replace the seals, if necessary.Note: Place all O-ring seals and install all bolts finger tight before tightening to the standard torque.

Install the O-ring seals in oil filter base assembly (2) . Position the oil filter base assembly on the cylinder block. Apply Tooling (B) to bolts (6) that are marked.
Install the following items: bolts (3) , bolts (1) and bolts (5) .
Install oil filter assembly (4) . Follow the instructions with the oil filter assembly for the correct installation.End By: Install the engine oil cooler. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine Oil Cooler - Install".
