Remove the track brake. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Track Brake - Remove".
Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.

Use two people to position housing (1), Tooling (A) and Tooling (B) into a suitable press. The weight of housing (1) is approximately 28 kg (62 lb).
Remove retaining ring (2). Remove Tooling (A).

Remove plate (3).

Remove two disc springs (4). Use two people to remove Tooling (B) and housing (1) from the press. The weight of housing (1) is approximately 23 kg (50 lb).

Use Tooling (C) to remove piston (5).
