Machine Preparation
Move the machine to a smooth horizontal location.
Use suitable lifting devices in order to lift the machine. The tracks must be able to turn freely in both directions.
Place the steering control lever in the NEUTRAL position.
Engage the parking brake.
Lower the attachments to the ground.
Verify that the implement lockout switch is in the UNLOCKED position.
Move the control levers through the full range of travel several times to relieve any pressure that may be present in the implement hydraulic system.
Stop the engine.

(1) Transmission (P1) Transmission speed control (P2) Transmission directional control
Pressure taps (P1) and (P2) are located on the back of the transmission. Attach tooling (A) or tooling (B) to pressure tap (P1) and (P2) .Transmission Controls (Test)
Start the engine. Warm the hydraulic oil to a minimum temperature of 85° 5°C (185° 9°F).
Operate the engine at HIGH IDLE. Make sure that the transmission is in the NEUTRAL position.
Check the pressure at pressure tap (P1). The pressure at pressure tap (P1) should be 2482 140 kPa (360 20 psi).
Check the pressure at pressure tap (P2). The pressure at pressure tap (P2) should be 380 35 kPa (55 5 psi) below the pressure at pressure tap (P1) .
The pressure at pressure tap (P2) is controlled by pressure tap (P1) and the spring rate of the differential valve.
Operate the engine at LOW IDLE. Make sure that the transmission is in the NEUTRAL position.
Check the pressure at pressure tap (P1). The pressure at pressure tap (P1) should be greater than 2206 kPa (320 psi).
Check the pressure at pressure tap (P2). The pressure at pressure tap (P2) should be 380 35 kPa (55 5 psi) below the pressure at pressure tap (P1) .

The transmission control valve is located on top the transmission inside the transmission case. The transmission case has been removed for clarity. (2) Transmission control valve (LP) Load piston plug
Remove load piston plug (LP) .
Operate the engine at LOW IDLE. Make sure that the transmission is in the NEUTRAL position.
Check the pressure at pressure tap (P1). The pressure at pressure tap (P1) should be 531 34 kPa (77 5 psi).
If the pressure is within the specified limit, the test is complete.Load Piston (Adjustment)
