Remove the hood. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hood - Remove".

Remove bolts (1) from cover (2) .
Use Tooling (A) and a hoist to remove cover (2). The weight of cover (2) is 45 kg (100 lb).

Remove bolts (3) from fan guards (4) and (5) .

Remove bolts (6). Remove fan guards (4) and (5) from the machine.

Attach a lifting strap and a hoist to spacer (7) .

Remove bolts (8) from spacer (7) .
Remove the fan from the machine. The weight of the fan is 27 kg (60 lb).Installation Procedure

Place the fan in position in the machine. The weight of the fan is 27 kg (60 lb).

Install bolts (8) .

Install fan guards (4) and (5) and bolts (6) and (3) .
