Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the fan. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fan - Remove and Install".
Remove the alternator. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Alternator - Remove and Install".
Remove the compressor. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Refrigerant Compressor - Remove and Install".

Remove bolts (2) that hold bracket (1) to bracket (3) .

Remove bolts (4) and bracket (1) .
Remove bolts (5) from bracket (3) .

Remove nuts (6) from bracket (3) .

Remove bolts (7) from bracket (3) .
Install a lifting strap and a hoist to the fan drive.
Remove remaining bolts (5) from bracket (3). Use the hoist to remove the fan drive. The weight of the fan drive is 32 kg (70 lb).
