Remove sun gear (3) and planetary gear set (4).

Possible injury can result when removing the retaining ring and spring.Spring force will be released when the retaining ring is removed.Be prepared to hold the cylinder assembly as the retaining ring is removed.
Use Tooling (A) to remove the three retaining rings (7) and three gears (8) from planetary gear set (5).
Use Tooling (B) to remove retaining ring (6) and gear (5) from planetary gear set (4).

Remove inner gear set (9).

Use a suitable drill and drill bit in order to remove the peened portion of nut (13).
