Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Disconnect the wiring harness from fuel shutoff solenoid (1) .
Use Tool (A) to remove fuel shutoff solenoid (1) from the governor.
Remove the O-ring seal from fuel shutoff solenoid (1) .Installation Procedure

Inspect the condition of the O-ring seal. Replace the seal, if necessary.
Install the O-ring seal on fuel shutoff solenoid (1) .
Use Tool (A) to install fuel shutoff solenoid (1) on the governor. Tighten the solenoid to a torque of 30 5 N m (22 4 lb ft).
Connect the wiring harness to fuel shutoff solenoid (1) .
