Remove Tip And Tilt Cylinder (814B)
1. Remove bolts (1) and remove guard (2) from the tip and tilt cylinders.
Release the pressure from the hydraulic system before any lines are removed or disconnected.
2. Disconnect oil lines (3) from the tip and tilt cylinders. Put plugs or caps in the opening of the oil lines to prevent a loss of oil.3. Remove the bolt and remove clamp (4) that holds the oil lines to the push arms. 4. Fasten a strap and hoist to the tip and tilt cylinders. Remove nuts (6), the bolts, shims and cap (5). Push the cylinder rod in a small amount to make the rod free from the ball. 5. Remove bolts (9), retainer (8) and pin (7) that holds the tip and tilt cylinders to the push arms.6. Remove the tip and tilt cylinders from the machine. The weight of the left cylinder is 45 kg (100 lb.). The weight of the right cylinder is 56 kg (125 lb.).Install Tip And Tilt Cylinders (814B)
1. Put the tip and tilt cylinders in position on the machine. 2. Install pin (1) and retainer (2) that holds the cylinders to the push arms. 3. Put the rod end of the cylinders in position on the ball. Install shims (4), cap (3), the bolts and the nuts. 4. Connect oil lines (5) to the cylinders.5. Install clamps (6) that hold the oil lines to the push arms. 6. Install guard (7) on the cylinders.7. With the cylinders installed check to make sure the cylinder rods do not bind. Add or remove minimum amount of shims until there is no end clearance.
