Disconnect harness assembly (19). Remove tube assembly (18) and the O-ring seals (not shown).

Attach Tooling (A) to aftercooler assembly (20). Remove bolts (21) and remove aftercooler assembly (20). The weight of aftercooler assembly (20) is approximately 330 kg (728 lb). Remove the gaskets (not shown) that seal aftercooler assembly (20) to the engine block.

Attach Tooling (A) to aftercooler assembly (22). Remove bolts (23) and remove aftercooler assembly (22). The weight of aftercooler assembly (22) is approximately 610 kg (1345 lb). Remove the gaskets (not shown) that seal aftercooler assembly (22) to the engine block.

Remove bolts (25) and use Tooling (A) to remove cover (24) from aftercooler assembly (22). The weight of cover (24) is approximately 131 kg (289 lb).

Remove seal (27). Attach Tooling (B) at Locations (X) and attach a suitable lifting device. Remove bolts (28) and remove aftercooler core (26). The weight of aftercooler core (26) is approximately 280 kg (617 lb).

Remove seal (29).

Remove bolts (31) and use Tooling (A) to remove cover (30). The weight of cover (30) is approximately 83 kg (183 lb).

Remove seal (32). Attach Tooling (B) at Locations (X) and attach a suitable lifting device. Remove bolts (34) and remove aftercooler core (33). The weight of aftercooler core (33) is approximately 150 kg (331 lb).

Remove seal (35). Installation Procedure
Install aftercooler assembly (20) and (22) in the reverse order of removal.
