Illustration 1 g06349298The 293-4388 Clamp As can break and allow the air cleaner cover to fall off. This can be caused by overtightening of the clamp.Solution

(1) NutIf the clamp is broken, replace with same part number using the following installation procedure.The mounting band/clamp is used to support the pre-cleaner during machine operation. The clamp is adjusted from the factory, however, if adjustment is required, follow instructions below.
Verify that the threads are free of dust and debris.
Secure latch in the "closed" position around pre-cleaner body.
Tighten nut (1) to 4 0.5 N m (35.5 4.5 lb in).
The clamp is now properly adjusted.
