Parts Needed to Update the Fender Groups.

Move the machine to a smooth horizontal location. Move away from any machines that are working and any personnel.
Lower the bowl to the ground. Chock the wheels. Shut off the engine.

Remove the baffle assembly (13) from the machine. Save the hardware.
Remove the fender assembly (12) from the machine. Save the hardware.
Remove the brake actuator. Save the hardware. Remove the bracket assembly (14) that is the fender support. Save the hardware.

Install the new bracket assembly (9). Install the brake actuator. The brake actuator was removed in Step 5. In order to install both parts, use the hardware that was removed in Step 5.
Refer to Special Instruction, REHS1841, "General Welding Procedures". Remove the paint from the bottom left rear cab support. This will be the location of block (10) .
By using locknuts (1) and washer (3), install shield (7) to fender (8) .
By using two bolts (2), two locknuts (5) and four washers (6), install plate (11) to fender (8) .Note: Use the round holes in plate (11) in order to accomplish this step.

By using the dimensions in Illustration 3, position block (10). Clamp block (10) to the left rear cab support.
By using the hardware that was removed in Step 4, install the fender assembly (8) to the tractor.
By using two washers (6) and two bolts (4), secure fender assembly (8) to block (10) .Note: As needed, adjust the position of block (10) in order to ensure that the parts are correctly assembled.
Refer to Special Instruction, REHS1841, "General Welding Procedures". Tack weld block (10) into position. Verify that all of the parts are correctly assembled.
Refer to Special Instruction, REHS1841, "General Welding Procedures". By using a 6.4 mm (0.25 inch) weld (W1), weld the block in position. The weld must meet the following specifications: AWS A5.1 E7018, AWS A5.18 ER70S-2, AWS A5.18 ER70S-3, AWS A5.18 ER70S-6, AWS A5.18 ER70C-6M, AWS A5.20 E70T-1, AWS A5.20 E70T-5, AWS A5.20 E71T-1, AWS A5.17 F7A2-EM12K and AWS A5.17 F7A2-EM13KNote: As an option, you can remove the fender
