Use Tooling (B) to remove sleeve bearing (3). Repeat the procedure for sleeve bearing (2).
Remove the hitch. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hitch - Remove" for the appropriate removal procedure.

Use Tooling (C) to remove sleeve bearings (4) from the bottom of the hitch.

Remove outer bearings (5). Remove rings (6). Remove two sleeve bearings (7).

Use Tooling (C) to remove rear sleeve bearings (8) (not shown).

Remove lip seals (9) (not shown). Use Tooling (D) to remove front sleeve bearings (10) (not shown).Installation Procedure
When you are using hydraulic cylinders and puller studs, always ensure that the rated capacity of the puller stud meets or exceeds the rated capacity of the hydraulic cylinder. If the puller stud does not meet or exceed the rated capacity of the hydraulic cylinder, a sudden failure of the puller stud could occur. The sudden failure of the puller stud could result in personal injury or death.

Use Tooling (D) to install sleeve bearings (10) into the frame. Install sleeve bearings (10) until the face of each sleeve bearing (10) is 1.24 mm (0.049 inch) below the surface of the frame.

Use Tooling (E) to install lip seals (9). Install lip seals (9) with the spring side of lip seals (9) toward the sleeve bearings. Install lip seals (9) until lip seals (9) are even with the outside surface of the frame. Lubricate lip seals (9) with Tooling (F) after installation.

Use Tooling (B) to install sleeve bearings (8). Install sleeve bearings (8) until sleeve bearings (8) are centered in the frame.

Use Tooling (B) to install sleeve bearings (7) into the bottom of the cushion-hitch. Install sleeve bearings (7) until sleeve bearings (7) are seated in the cushion-hitch. Install rings (6) onto sleeve bearings (7). Install outer sleeve bearings (5) onto sleeve bearings (7).

Use Tooling (B) to install sleeve bearings (4) to the bottom of the cushion-hitch. Install sleeve bearings (4) until sleeve bearings (4) are centered in the cushion-hitch.
Install the cushion-hitch. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hitch - Install".

Use Tooling (B) to install sleeve bearing (2) to the cushion-hitch. Install sleeve bearing (2) until sleeve bearing (2) is centered in the cushion-hitch. Repeat the procedure for sleeve bearing (3).
