Drive the machine to a smooth, horizontal surface.

Move propulsion lever (2) to the NEUTRAL position.
Rotate speed dial (1) to the MINIMUM position.
Move parking brake switch (3) to the ON position.

Move screed lift switch (4) to the FLOAT position. Lower the screed to the ground.

Move throttle control switch (5) to the LOW IDLE position. Hold the switch in this position for less than 1 second.
After the engine reaches low idle, move engine start switch (6) to the OFF position.

Open access door (7) for the instrument panel, which is on the top of the instrument panel.

Remove the cover from connector "J1" (8). Remove the cover from connector "J2" (9) .

Connector "J1" and Connector "J2" Pin Locations.
Insert the black spoon of Tool (B) into pin "13" (200-BK wire) of connector "J1" (8). Connect the black spoon to Tool (A) .
Insert the red spoon from Tool (B) into pin "15" (A334-BU wire) of connector "J2" (9). Connect the red spoon to Tool (A) .
Set Tool (A) to read "duty cycle".
Move engine start switch (6) to the ON position. Do not start the engine.
