Oil Pump 'Components' (1) Cover assembly. (2) Gear assembly. (3) Gear assembly. (4) Manifold assembly.The transmission oil pump is a single-section gear type. The transmission oil pump is mounted on the back of the hydraulic implement pump.The main components of the transmission oil pump are cover assembly (1), gear assembly (2), gear assembly (3), and manifold assembly (4) .Drive gear assembly (2) is connected by splines to the hydraulic implement pump, which is driven by the pump drive.When the pump is operating, oil comes from the reservoir in the output transfer gear case. After leaving the gear case, the oil goes through the magnetic screen. The oil then enters the pump through an opening in manifold assembly (4). The oil goes to the lower part of the pump manifold. The oil fills the spaces between the teeth of gears (2) and (3). As the gears turn, oil is pushed from the pump manifold. The oil goes through another passage in manifold assembly (4) to an oil line. The oil then goes to the filter.
