When reporting the repair, use "PI30209" as the Partnumber and "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim DescriptionCode and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair isdone after failure, use "PI30209" as the Part Number, "7751" as the GroupNumber, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMSDescription Code. The information supplied in this serviceletter may not be valid after the termination date of this program. Locate the date code on the front seal.
G3304 - Remove the front pulley and find the datecode on cage of front seal.
G3306 - Remove the front pulley and damper andfind the date code on cage of front seal.
Check the date code.
If seal has date code of "MENENU" remove sealand replace with new.
If seal is other than "MENENU" do nothing andreplace damper and pulley.
NOTE: If in doubt, replace the seal.OWNER NOTIFICATION
