After failure only PRODUCT SUPPORT PROGRAM FOR REPLACING THE AUXILIARY CIRCUIT ON CERTAIN 320B, 322B, 325B, 330B AND 345B EXCAVATORS
1901 PS50255 This Program can only be administered after a failure occurs. The decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS50255" as the Part number and "7755" as the Group Number. Use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.
The information supplied in this service letter may not be valid after the termination date of this program. Do not perform the work outlined in this Service Letter after the termination date without first contacting your Caterpillar product analyst.

PROBLEM
The auxiliary circuit needs to be replaced on certain 320B, 322B, 325B, 330B and 345B Excavators. The auxiliary circuit may present some system malfunctions like auxiliary flow variation, memory of setting loss, engine speed dial display malfunction, etc. The problem might be due to a faulty control group (see Illustration 1).

Use the new REHS1046 publication in order to help in the trouble shooting and determine if the auxiliary controller is the root cause of the problem.
If the auxiliary controller is faulty, write in the SIMS ticket the serial number of the controller and the 'Trouble shooting exit' code (TSE) described in the REHS1046 publication.
Example: s/n 9423 - TSE14
If the information is not recorded in SIMS the claim might not be paid.
Record all data of the faulty controller in the attached test sheet.
