Refer to the following information.The following instruction explains the strategy for the maximum speed limit of the engine during the operation of the hoist system in more detail for the listed machines.The maximum speed of the engine is limited to 1760 RPM when the hoist control lever is placed into the RAISE or LOWER positions. This prevents the gear pump for the hoist system from exceeding the maximum capacity for pump flow that is needed in the hoist system.If the engine speed is above 1760 RPM the engine speed will be reduced to 1760 RPM. The rate of deceleration for the engine speed will be determined by the transmission ECM.A two second delay is applied to the speed limit when you move the hoist lever out of the RAISE or LOWERpositions. The delay helps eliminate the momentary increase of the engine speed if the operator is moving through the HOLD and FLOAT positions.
