Fuel leaked or spilled onto hot surfaces or electrical components can cause a fire. To help prevent possible injury, turn the start switch off when changing fuel filters or water separator elements. Clean up fuel spills immediately.

Remove clip (1).

Use Tooling (A) in order to remove fuel filter (4). Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Fuel System Secondary Filter - Replace" for the correct draining and filling procedure.
Disconnect harness assembly (3), harness assemblies (5) and remove the connecting hardware.
Disconnect hose assemblies (2). Remove bolts (6) in order to remove filter base (6). Installation Procedure
Install fuel filters (4) and filter base (7) in the reverse order of removal.
