Remove the undercarriage from the machine.
Use a reciprocating saw. Make two cuts 25.4 mm (1 inch) from each other. The cut should extend the length of the bearing. Stop cutting before you cut through the bearing. Stopping the cut will prevent the tube from becoming damaged. Refer to Illustration 1
Use a flat head screwdriver in order to remove the 25.4 mm (1.0 inch) cut section.
Use the screwdriver in order to pry the remaining bearing away from the tube. The bearing will start to collapse. Use pliers in order to remove the rest of the bearing. Repeat steps 2 through step 4 for the other axle tubes.
Line up the new bearing. The teeth should be horizontal when the bearing is assembled onto the machine. The outer edge of the bearing should be recessed 1 mm (0.039 inch) past the outside edge of the tube.
Install the undercarriage.Effectivity
