Install O-ring seal (14) and spacer (15) onto piston motor (9).Note: The chamfered side of spacer (15) should face piston motor (9).

Position Tooling (B) and Tooling (F) on each side of the machine. Position Tooling (C), Tooling (D), and Tooling (E) onto Tooling (C) and (F). Attach piston motor (9) to Tooling (E). The weight of piston motor (9) is approximately 50 kg (110 lb).

Position piston motor (9) and loosely install bolts (10). Install sprocket (13). Install retainer (12) and bolt (11).Note: The piston motor and the sprockets should be installed at the same time. The inside sprocket will align with the rear driven sprocket and the outside sprocket will align with the front driven sprocket.

Tighten bolts (10).
If bolts (10) are HEX head bolts, tighten to a torque of 40 3 N m (30 2 lb ft) in the sequence shown. Tighten bolts (10) to a final torque of 170 +15/ - 0 N m (125 + 11/ - 0 lb ft) in the sequence shown.
If bolts (10) are 12 point head bolts, tighten to a torque of 40 3 N m (30 2 lb ft) in the sequence shown. Tighten bolts (10) to a final torque of 190 + 15/ - 0N m (140 + 11/ - 0 lb ft) in the sequence shown.

Connect hose assemblies (7) and hose assembly (8).

Tighten bolts (6).
Adjust the chain tension. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Drive Chain Tension - Check/Adjust".

Use Tooling (A) to raise the side machine. Remove the blocking and lower the machine. Repeat for the rear of the machine.

Apply a continuous bead of Tooling (G) to the mating surface of plate (5). Install plate (5) and bolts (4).
Fill the drive chain case. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Drive Chain Case Oil - Change".

Position plate assembly (3) and install bolts (2). Tighten bolts (2) to a torque of 25 5 N m (220 44 lb in).
If equipped, install the air conditioner and heater.
Lower the cab.

Raise the lift arms and remove cylinder lock (1).
