Remove the hood. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hood - Remove".
Remove the pump drive shaft. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Pump Drive Shaft - Remove and Install".Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.

Remove bolts (1) and remove plate (2) .

Remove belt (3). Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Belt - Replace" for the correct procedure.
Remove bolts (4) and remove yoke (5). Remove damper assembly (6) .

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to plate (7). Apply enough tension in order to support the front of the engine.

Remove bolts (8). Remove bolts (10). Remove engine support (front) (9) .Installation Procedure

A     189-0411     Shackle As     1    Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

Install engine support (front) (9). Install bolts (10). Install bolts (8). Tighten bolts (8) to a torque of 120 20 N m (89 15 lb ft).

Remove Tooling (A) and the suitable lifting device from plate (7) .

Install belt (3). Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Belt - Replace" for the correct procedure.
Install damper assembly (6). Install yoke (5) and install bolts (4) .

Install plate (2) and install bolts (1) .End By:
Install the pump drive shaft. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Pump Drive Shaft - Remove and Install".
Install the hood. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hood - Install".
