(2) Make modifications to the 8D1769 Clutch Driving Plate only. Remove .12" (3.0) from the bottom of six holes (A). Remove .22" (5.6) from surface (B). Surface (B) must be finished to 30 micro units. (3) On machines shown in the chart, remove hub (1) and use three S509 Bolts (2) with 3B4506 Lockwashers to install a 6D6219 Thrower (3) on the flywheel as shown.(4) Install hub (1) and the flywheel clutch. (5) Install three 7D8224 Disc Assemblies (4) and two 7D5651 Plates (5) between flywheel (6) and clutch (7) as shown. (6) Install two 7D8224 Disc Assemblies (4) and two 7D5651 Plates (5), between flywheel (6) and clutch (7) as shown.(7) Rotate adjusting nuts (8) until clearance (C) between clutch release levers (9) and thrust ring (10) is .09" .01" (2.3 0.3). (8) Install the remainder of the parts according to the procedure in the Service Manual.
