Assembly Procedure

Install four bushings (16) and four retaining rings (15) in plate assembly (7) .

Install four plates (12). Apply 5P-0960 Multipurpose Grease to four plates (12) .
Apply 5P-3931 Anti-Seize Compound to four adjusters (13) and install the adjusters (13). Set the gap from the top of four plates (12) to the top of four adjusters (13) to 12 mm (0.47 inch).
Tighten four nuts (14) to a torque of 700 90 N m (516 66 lb ft).

Install plate assembly (7) in frame (8) .
Install two tube assemblies (11), two caps (9), and four bolts (10) .

Install trunnion (6), two bushings (4), and two bolts (5) .
Install bracket assembly (1) on the frame. Install height adjuster jack (2) and four bolts (3) .End By: Install the height adjuster group (extender). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Height Adjuster Group (Extender) - Install".
