Testing Procedure for Fixed Frequency in Low Amplitude
Move vibratory amplitude control (2) to the LOW AMPLITUDE position.
Start the machine and run the engine at 2310 50 RPM. Check the hydraulic temperature with Tool (B) until the hydraulic oil temperature reaches 38°C (100°F).
Depress vibratory on/off control switch (1) to the ON position in order to start the vibratory system. Place Tool (A) on the drum. Read the vibrations per minute (VPM) from Tool (A) . The maximum VPM setting for low amplitude for the CS/CP-563E and the CS-573E should be 1965 50 VPM. If the frequency is not correct, adjust low amplitude adjustment screw (7) . Loosen the locknut on adjustment screw (7) . Turn the adjustment screw counterclockwise in order to increase maximum VPM. Turn adjustment screw clockwise in order to decrease maximum VPM.

Place the vibratory amplitude control (2) in the HIGH AMPLITUDE position.
Turn variable vibration control knob (3) to the full counterclockwise position.
