Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Install a new gasket on the plate. Note: Trim the gasket even with the bottom of the front housing after assembly.
Apply Tooling (A) to the bottom of the gasket in order to fill the space at the front housing and the engine oil pan.
Attach a suitable lifting device to front housing (10). The weight of front housing (10) is approximately 57 kg (125 lb). Install front housing (10) on the dowel pins on the cylinder block.
Install bolts (12) for the engine oil pan to a torque of 38 6 N m (28 4 lb ft).
Install bolts (11).
Install nuts (9).
Install bolt (8) and nut (7).
Install strap (6).

Install cover (5) and nuts (4).

Install bracket (3) and bolts (2). End By:
Install the engine support. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine Support (Front) - Remove and Install".
Install the crankshaft position sensor. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Crankshaft Position Sensor - Remove and Install".
Install the crankshaft front seal. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Crankshaft Front Seal - Install".
Install the camshaft gear. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Camshaft Gear - Remove and Install".
