With the ignition turned to the ON position and the radio turned off. Press the volume knob (2) and the preset "5" (1) for 2 seconds to display the Frequency Zone menu.
The display will show the current frequency zone. The default is USA. Turn the volume knob or short press the "NEXT" (3)/"PREV" (4) buttons to change through the selections.Note: The display will show an asterisk (*) following the zone that is currently selected.

With the ignition key turned to the ON position and the radio turned "OFF", press the "MENU" button (6) and Preset 5 (8) for 2 seconds.The display will show "FREQ ZONE".
Press "OK" (9) to enter mode. Scroll through zones by using the "tune up" or "tune down" button (5) or twist the volume knob. Select desired zone by pressing "OK" (9).The option that has been selected will display "SEL".

The frequency band can be changed from the U.S.A. domestic frequencies to most export frequencies.
Due to Saudi Arabian government regulations, the Saudi operation is determined as follows: Selection of the Saudi tuning range is available from the consecutive pushes of the Band button on the front panel. Once Saudi is displayed, Push and hold Scan and the preset "4" buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds. This will then make Saudi the desired frequency band. This model will only display Saudi frequencies and will always be Saudi only. This operation is not reversible after ignition cycle and power cycle. After a battery cycle, radio remains on SAUDI, but can be set to other region code.

With the ignition key turned to the ON position and the radio turned "OFF", press the display ("DSPL") button (10) and hold the "DSPL" button (10) for 2 seconds in order to enter the "set" mode for the display.
While in the "set" mode, press the "BAND" (radio mode) button (11) and release the "BAND" button to step through each available country or region.
Continue to step through each available country or region until the desired frequency band is displayed.Note: The "Band" button (11) must be pressed within 5 seconds in order to avoid time out of the "set" mode.The radio will time for 5 seconds. After the five second time period, the radio will turn on. The radio will default to the FM1
