The 1P6996 and 8S2174 Disc Assemblies used in the steering clutch groups for D8K and D9H Tractors have been canceled and replaced by 6I8915 and 6I8916 Disc Assemblies.

Parts Stock
Remove all 1P6996 and 8S2174 Disc Assemblies from parts stock.
Dealer Exchange Units
Remove the existing 1P6996 or 8S2174 Disc Assemblies from all of the dealer exchange steering clutch groups for D8K and D9H Tractors. Replace the discs with new 6I8915 or 6I8916 Disc Assemblies.
Service Claim Allowances
Parts Stock
Submit one claim for all 1P6996 and 8S2174 Disc Assemblies removed from parts stock.
Dealer Exchange Units
This is a 1-hour job.
When filing a claim for a dealer exchange steering clutch group, file the claim using the serial numbers which follow.
