Introduction
This instruction gives the procedure for installing a swinging drawbar on D7H Tractors.Reference: Parts Book, Service ManualNecessary Parts
Start by: Remove the rear guard assembly.
A. Rear of tractor. B. Top view. C. Side view. Dimension (D) 125 2 mm (4.9 .1"). Dimension (E) 106 .25 mm (4.17 .01").1. Position two 3T4850 Blocks (1) flush against the case and tack weld in place.2. Weld two blocks (1) on the top and two sides with a 10 mm (.4") square groove weld, with 2.5 mm (.10") penetration. 3. Install 3T9899 Guard Assembly (2).4. Bolt 6T7050 Bracket Assembly (3) to guard assembly (2) with six 1A8063 Bolts and six 5P8248 Washers, and to blocks (1) using two 1D4637 Bolts and two 5P8250 Washers.5. Bolt 6T7048 Bracket Assembly (4) and 6T7049 Bracket Assembly (5) to the case with six 3S2113 Studs, six 7H7539 Nuts and six 4K0684 Washers.6. Insert 6T7046 Drawbar Assembly (6) between bracket assembly (3) and guard assembly (2) and install the 6T7036 Pin. Lock the pin in place with two 3B9805 Lockscrews (7) and two 5P8247 Washers.7. Bolt 6T7041 Plate (8) between the two bracket assemblies and between the top and bottom plates on the drawbar assembly. Bolt to bracket assemblies (4 & 5) with four 1D4643 Bolts, four 2J3507 Nuts and eight 5P8250 Washers.8. Install two 5H3327 Wear Shoes (9) between drawbar assembly (6) and plate (8).9. Install 2R0179 Pin Assembly (10), 5H8812 Pin Assembly (11) and two 7B0863 Latches (12) with two 2B0947 Bolts (13) and two 1K6872 Nuts.
