Adjustment Procedure For Cab Door Stops
1. Loosen nuts (5) on upper stop (1) and lower stop (2). See Illustration 2.

(E) Clearance of stop (2).2. Adjust the stops roughly until clearance (D) is 17 mm (.7 in) and clearance (E) is 14 mm (.6 in).3. Open the door until hook (3) is locked with latch (4).4. Adjust clearances (D) and (E) to obtain the correct compression heights shown in the chart. Since the door is slightly warped during the adjustment procedure, do not measure compression with the door unlocked.5. Tighten nuts (5) to lock the adjustment.6. After adjustment, test for the following:a. Make sure door can be locked when fully opened.b. Make sure the compression in stops (1) and (2) cause the door to spring away from the side of the cab approximately 300 mm (12 in) when latch (4) is released. If this does not occur, readjust stop (1).
