Information:

Personal injury or death can result from escaping fluid under pressure.Escaping fluid under pressure, even a very small pin-hole size leak, can penetrate body tissue and cause serious injury and possible death. If fluid is injected into your skin, it must be treated immediately by a doctor familiar with this type of injury.Always use a board or cardboard when checking for a leak.
Check valves in the hydraulic system may allow pressure to exist in the hydraulic lines after the engine has been stopped. Pressure must be relieved prior to servicing the components of the hydraulic system. Failure to relieve pressure prior to servicing may result in personal injury.
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before operating any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids. After collecting all fluids in suitable containers, dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

(A) Stick (B) Grapple crosshead
Place the O-Ring Seals (1) just over the top edge of the grapple crosshead (B) .
Slowly lower the stick (A) into the grapple crosshead (B). This will slowly pull the O-Ring Seals (1) into the proper position.
Continue to lower the stick into the grapple crosshead. Check that the O-Ring Seals do not enter the pin bore (3) in the stick or the pin bore (4) in the grapple crosshead.

(A) Stick (B) Grapple crosshead
Lower the stick (A) completely until the pin bores (3) in the stick and the pin bore (4) in the grapple crosshead align.
Install the pin. Lock the pin.
Stop the engine of the host machine. Cycle all of the hydraulic controls in order to relieve the pressure in the hydraulic system.Note: Auxiliary hoses for the hydraulic system are available for your machine. The hoses must be long enough to prevent any damage when the machine moves or the work tool is moved.
Clean all of the hydraulic fittings before installing the hydraulic fittings. Inspect all of the hydraulic fittings. Repair any damaged fittings. Replace any worn fittings. Connect all of the hydraulic hoses.
Remove the device for the transport lock.
Start the engine of the host machine. Cycle the hydraulic controls. Check for any hydraulic leaks. Repair any hydraulic leaks.
Position the grapple just above the ground.
In order to purge the hydraulic system of air, slowly open the grapple arms and close the grapple arms four times. When you are purging the hydraulic system, do not apply any extra hydraulic pressure to the grapple arms.Hydraulic Connections
