PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
1. Isolate generator set before commencing any work on the unit. Ensure health and safety requirements are adhered to at all times. Also ensure proper Lock Out-Tag Out procedures are followed at all times while work is being performed on the system. Lock out the generator set before commencing any type of work.
2. Remove the circuit breaker cover (1) by unscrewing the six bolts (2) securing it to the circuit breaker panel. Refer to Image1.2.1. Retain the bolts, washers, and cover for later use.

3. Confirm the system is isolated at the load side.
4. Using a 8mm allen wrench, disconnect the power cables (1) at the generator and load sides of the circuit breaker (2). Refer to Image1.4.1.

5. Remove the circuit breaker assembly (1) from the circuit breaker bracket (2) by using a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the four screws (3) securing the circuit breaker to the bracket. Care should be taken to ensure that the circuit breaker does not fall during the process, injury or damage could result if care is not taken. Refer to Image1.5.1.

6. Fit the replacement 400A 263-7713 Breaker As. (1), to the circuit breaker bracket (2) using the four of screws (3) supplied with the circuit breaker. Tighten the screws to 2 Nm. Refer to Image1.6.1.

7. Using the fasteners supplied with the circuit breaker, reconnect the power cables (1) to the top and bottom of the circuit breaker. Tighten the allen screws to 28 Nm. Refer to Image1.7.1.

8. Set the DIP switches on circuit breaker to the following settings:
I1 (1) set at 0.6
I3 (2) set at 6

9. Replace and secure the circuit breaker cover (1) using the six bolts (2) previously removed in Step 2. Refer to Image1.9.1.

10. Run functional test on the circuit breaker. Clear the generator set area and put system back into service.
