Remove clamp (61) and breather hose (62).
Do not damage the radiator core during removal of the engine. The engine must be held level during removal to prevent possible interference between components.
31. Fasten Tool (A) and a hoist to the engine as shown. Remove engine (63) and the main hydraulic pump as a unit. The weight of the unit is 454 kg (1000 lb).32. Remove lower rubber mounts (58) from the front and rear engine mounts.
The front and rear engine mounting bracket have different part numbers. Do not mix these components during installation.
33. If necessary, remove bolts (64), the washers and front and rear engine mounting brackets (65). The following steps are for the installation of the engine and main hydraulic pump. 34. Be sure the mating surfaces of the cylinder block and the engine mounting bracket are thoroughly clean. Install front and rear engine mounting brackets (64) in their original locations.
Visually check the condition of upper rubber mounts (57) and lower rubber mounts (58). If the rubber mounts are worn or damaged or appear to be compressed, use new parts for replacement. To ensure correct engine operation, be sure the rubber mounts are installed in their original locations in the front and rear engine mounting brackets.
35. Put lower rubber mounts (58) in their original locations in the front and rear engine mounting brackets.36. Fasten Tool (A) and a hoist to engine (63) as shown. Carefully put the engine in position in the frame of the machine. 37. Put upper rubber mounts (57) in their original locations in the front and rear engine mounting brackets. Apply 5P-0960 Multipurpose Grease on the shoulder of four engine mounting bolts (56). Install the support assemblies, washers and four engine mounting bolts. Do not tighten the engine mounting bolts at this time. 38. Put fan shroud (59) in position on the radiator. Install six bolts (60) and the washers that hold it.39. Be sure the fan assembly on the engine is centered in the fan shroud and no fan blades are touching the shroud. It may be necessary to re-center the engine. After it has been determined that the engine is properly centered, tighten four engine mounting bolts (56) to a torque of 155 10 N m (115 7 lb ft). 40.
