Remove the chain drive (rotor).
Lower the mixing chamber and the rotor assembly to the ground.

Drain the oil from oil tank (1) into a suitable container for storage or disposal.

Disconnect hose assemblies (3). Remove tubes (2).

Remove the wire from bolts (5). Remove bolts (5), plate (6), and the shims. Remove sprocket assembly (4). The weight of sprocket assembly (4) is approximately 25 kg (55 lb).

Remove O-ring seal (8) from plate (7).
Repeat Steps 4 and 5 in order to remove the other sprocket assembly.

Remove the bolt and depth gauge (9).
Remove bolt (10) and pin assembly (12) from hydraulic cylinder (11).
Disconnect harness assembly (13).

Remove breather assembly (14), if necessary.

Attach a suitable lifting device to support (15).
Remove bolts (16) from support (15).

Remove the stub shaft shield group.
Attach a suitable lifting device to chain case (17) and remove chain case (17) from the machine. The weight of chain case (17) is approximately 383 kg (845 lb).

Remove bushing (20), lip seal (19) and bearing (18) from chain case (17).Installation Procedure
Install chain case (17) in the reverse order of removal.
Apply Tooling (A) on surface of bushing (20) before installing.
Tighten bolts (5) to a torque of 240 41 N m (177 30 lb ft). Then, remove the bolts (5) and plate (7).
Measure the solder thickness. Use shims in order to maintain a clearance of 0.21 + 0.00 - 0.20 mm (0.008 + 0 .000 - 0.008 inch).
Install the shims, plate (7) and bolts (5). Tighten bolts (5) to a torque of 240 41 N m (177 30 lb ft).
Repeat Steps 1.b and 1.d in order to install the other sprocket assembly.
