Procedure to convert 621B (45P3611-45P3617, 45P3620-Up), 623B (46P2003-46P2011, 46P2013-Up), 627B (14S1202-14S1206, 14S1208-Up), 627B P-P (15S1642-Up), 621R, 621E, 623E, 627E Tractors
1. Remove the 5T3188 Pin Assembly, 3J8775 Spacer, and two 7F5227 Bolts. See Illustration 1. The existing pin assembly can be modified as shown in Step 2 and Illustration 2. If installing a new pin assembly, go to Step 3.
Illustration 1. Cushion-hitch group.2. Put the 5T3188 Pin Assembly in a lathe. Remove enough material from the pin assembly until the diameter is 110.0 mm (4.33"). See Illustration 2.
Illustration 2. Modification of 5T3188 Pin Assembly (optional).3. Install either a modified 5T3188 Pin Assembly or a new 8W9515 Pin Assembly, a 8W9517 Spacer, and two 6V8849 Bolts. The bolts should clear the pin assembly and allow the pin to turn freely.4. Tighten the nut to 745 N m (550 lb ft) and rotate the pin assembly to the next locking position.Procedure to convert 651E and 657E Tractors
1. Remove the 1U0144 Pin Assembly, 1J5412 Washer, and two 1D4614 Bolts. See Illustration 3. The existing pin assembly can be modified as shown in Step 2 and Illustration 2. If installing a new pin assembly, go to Step 3.
Illustration 3. Cushion-hitch group.2. Put the 1U0144 Pin Assembly in a lathe. Remove the ears from the pin assembly until the diameter is 140.0 mm (5.51"). See Illustration 4. Remove only the ears. If more material is removed, the bearings may come out of the bore.

The bolts should clear the pin assembly and allow the pin to turn freely.3. Tighten the nut to 745 N m (550 lb ft) and rotate the pin assembly to the next locking position.
