Information:
Discrete
For the first critical zone detection in the direction of travel, the system will issue two short alarms (.5 seconds long with a .5 second break) and one solid alarm (1.5 second) in stop zones. After an audible alarm is produced because of detection on the front or rear, the system will NOT produce and audible alarm again if there is a new detection on either or both sides. If the first audible alarm comes from a side detection, the system will produce an alarm again at the first front or rear detection in the direction of travel.
Table 4
Discrete Alarm Mode
Gear Detections Alarming Activation
Reverse Rear Alarm twice for one half second if object is detected in Critical Zone. Alarm once for 1.5 seconds again if object enters Stop Zone. After Stop Zone alarming, the audible alarm will be silenced until a gear change occurs or the system state changes
Sides Alarm once for 1.5 seconds.
Rear and sides at the same time Alarm once for 1.5 seconds.
First rear then sides Alarm twice for one half second if object is detected in Critical Zone. Alarm once for 1.5 seconds again if object enters Stop Zone.
First sides then rear Alarm twice for one half second if object is detected in Critical Zone. Alarm once for 1.5 seconds again if object enters Stop Zone.
Forward Front Alarm twice for one half second if object is detected in Critical Zone. Alarm once for 1.5 seconds again if object enters Stop Zone.
Sides Alarm once for 1.5 seconds.
Front and sides at the same time Alarm once for 1.5 seconds.
First front then sides Alarm twice for one half second if object is detected in Critical Zone. Alarm once for 1.5 seconds again if object enters Stop Zone.
First sides then front Alarm twice for one half second if object is detected in Critical Zone. Alarm once for 1.5 seconds again if object enters Stop Zone. System Information and Warning Display
The function of the system information and Warning Display is to inform the operator of the system status. The status of the system can be active, standby, or faulted.Active
Illustration 15 g06003386The system is in the active state when the machine is stopped or when the reverse gear is selected. Also, the system remains active in the FORWARD gear as long as the threshold set by the "Object Detection Standby Mode" parameter has not been met. While the machine is in the active state, the operator will be warned of objects that are detected by the system. A green indicator on the display screen signifies the active state.Note: The system remains in the active state anytime the transmission is place in the REVERSE gear.Standby
Illustration 16 g06003432The system can be configured to run in one of two different standby modes:Distance - In "Distance" based standby, once the machine travels 20 m (65.61 ft) the system goes into standby mode. When the machine stops for "x" seconds the system returns to active mode. The "x" seconds are set in the "Object Detection System Enable Delay"
