Pump Flow Adjustment
Illustration 23 g01187561
(80) Left Pump Sync Screw (81) Right Pump Sync Screw
Adjust input RPM to the value in Step 1 of Table 14.Underspeed/override lever (69) must be in the 60 degree down position.Move the F/P/R lever to the full FORWARD position.Record the left side and right side flows. The flow difference between the left side and right side pumps must be within the value in Step 1 of Table 14.
Move the F/P/R lever to the full REVERSE position.Record the left side and right side flows. The flow difference between the left side and right side pumps must be within the value in Step 2 of Table 14.If the right and left side forward flows are not equal, use the right pump sync screw (81) to equalize them. If the right and left side reverse flows are not equal, use the right pump sync screw (81) to equalize them. To adjust the flow, turn sync screw clockwise (CW) to decrease the flow or counterclockwise (CCW) to increase the flow.
Once the sync screws have been set, the flows in FORWARD and REVERSE on both sides must be equal to the value in Step 3 of the table below. If the flows are not correct, the max flow screws will need to be readjusted. To adjust the flow, turn the forward or reverse flow adjustment screw (74 or 76) clockwise (CW) to decrease flow and counterclockwise (CCW) to increase flow.

( 1 ) If the right and left side flows start to move more than 16 lpm (4 gpm) apart, in either FORWARD or REVERSE, the swashplates in the transmission are against their internal stops. The flow adjustment screw for that direction must be turned clockwise (CW) and the flow for that direction adjusted slightly less than the value in Step 3. It may be necessary to readjust the right pump sync screw to equalize the flow in that direction.Center Pedal Brake Valve
Adjust input RPM to the value in Step 1 of Table 15.Move the F/P/R lever to the full REVERSE position. The underspeed/override lever (69) must be in the 60 degree down position.Remove the bolt (T) that holds the center pedal brake valve in the full speed position.Move the center pedal brake valve (53) forward (toward the stop) until the pump flow is below the value in Step 1 of Table 15, and the brake pressure is still maintained.
