ZZ 9U-7069 Cap 4 Note: SERVICE DATA: TOOLING (ZZ) WILL NOT BE IDENTIFIED IN PHOTOGRAPHS IN THE REMOVAL PROCEDURE. THIS TOOLING IS SHOWN TO ASSIST THE EXPERIENCED SERVICEMAN.Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.
Turn the fuel shutoff valve to the OFF position. Refer to Operation and Maintenance, "Fuel System Primary Filter - Clean/Replace" for the correct procedure.

Remove bolts (1).
Repeat Step 2 for the opposite side.

Remove bolts (2) and remove cover (3).

Disconnect harness assembly (4). Disconnect hose assemblies (5).
Use Tooling (A) (not shown) to remove filter (6).

Remove the bolts and nuts (7) in order to remove filter base (8).

Remove fittings (9). Installation Procedure

Install fittings (9).

Install filter base (8). Install the bolts and nuts (7).

Use Tooling (A) (not shown) to install filter (6).
Connect hose assemblies (5). Connect harness assembly (4).

Install cover (3) and install bolts (2).

Install bolts (1). End By:
Turn the fuel shutoff valve to the ON position. Refer to Operation and Maintenance, "Fuel System Primary Filter - Clean/Replace" for the correct procedure.
