Remove the bulldozer tilt cylinder. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Bulldozer Tilt Cylinder - Remove".

Place tilt cylinder (3) on Tooling (A). The weight of the tilt cylinder is approximately 125 kg (275 lb). Mark tilt cylinder (3) and cylinder head (2) for correct assembly.
Remove bolts (1) that fasten the cylinder head to the tilt cylinder.
Use Tooling (A) to separate the tilt cylinder from cylinder rod (4) and from cylinder head (2) .
Use Tooling (B) in order to remove nut (16) from the end of cylinder rod (4). Remove Tooling (B) and remove the nut.
Remove washer (6) from piston (5) .
Remove piston (5) from cylinder rod (4) .
Remove wear ring (8) and remove seal (7) from piston (5) .
Remove O-ring seal (10) and remove backup ring (9) from head (2) .
Use Tooling (A) to position tilt cylinder (3) on cylinder rod (4) and on head (2) .
Install two of four bolts (1) that fasten cylinder head (2) to tilt cylinder (3) .
Use Tooling (A) to separate the tilt cylinder with head (2) from the cylinder rod.
Remove two bolts (1). Use Tooling (A) to separate head (2) from the tilt cylinder.
Remove seals (11), (12), and (13) from the head. Remove wear ring (14) from head (2) .Note: In order to prevent distortion of the tilt cylinder, place a piece of bar stock across the space between the bearings during removal.
Use Tooling (C) to remove bearings (15) from the tilt cylinder.
