Weigh RangeFor example, the current weigh range in illustration 6 is set from 30 to 80 percent. As the operator moves the lift arm, the percentage of the "Lift Cylinder Pos" on the progress bar is automatically updated.Setting the Weigh Range
The operator can change the weigh range in order to compensate for changing conditions at the job site. The lift height is measured as a percent. The range of the lift height is from zero percent (the bucket on the ground ) to 100 percent (the bucket at maximum lift). Adjustment of the Weigh Range
The "Weigh Range Top" should be changed from the default setting of 80 percent, if the application requires low dumping (small trucks, low hopper, etc). The "Weigh Range Bottom" should be changed from the default setting of 30 percent, if the application requires higher digging because of the style of the operator's digging, tough material, etc. When "weighing... " is displayed on the Advisor during normal operation of the machine, the weigh range is not set correctly.Another sign of an incorrect setting of the weigh range is a high frequency of "reweigh requests". Perform the following in order to set the weigh range:

Apply the lift lever in order to change the lift linkage position until the arm is at the desired "Weigh Range Bottom".

Apply the lift lever in order to change the lift linkage position until the arm is at the desired "Weigh Range Top".
