Make a note that the new bearings will not fit all former 5.75" bore engines. Early 5.75" bore engines used a crankshaft with a 95.22 mm (3.749") diameter main bearing journal. Later crankshafts have a 108.20 mm (4.260") diameter main bearing journal. The new bearings will fit only the crankshafts with 108.20 mm (4.260") diameter journals. The chart which follows has a list of machines and engines with approximate serial numbers when the crankshaft with 108.20 mm (4.260") diameter main bearing journals are used.
