Only qualified electrical personnelshould service this equipment.
Turn off all power, prevent the engine from startingand lock out the equipment before working on or inside this equipment.
NOTE: Always use a properly ratedvoltage-sensing device to confirm that the power is off.NOTE: Post all required warnings andtags.NOTE: Inform all necessary personnel.Exercise required code and site-specific procedures in order to avoid injury.NOTE: Discharge any capacitance beforetouching electrical leads.NOTE: Replace all devices, doors, andcovers before turning power on to this equipment.
Mark the locations of the upper and lower stopsfor the top float.
Continue to move the float upwards until you nolonger have continuity, then set the upper stop .187 inches above the topof the float.
Slide the float back down until continuity isfirst reached and set bottom .187 inches below this point. If this proceduredoes not work, then the float will have to be flipped over. Use the followingprocedure to do that:
Mark all stops on the tube.
Starting at the bottom remove all the stops exceptfor the very top stop and remove all floats.
Reinstall upper float with arrow pointing down.
Reinstall the lower stop for the upper float byplacing the stop on the mark made in step a.
Reinstall the upper stop for the second highestfloat by placing the stop on the mark made in step a.
Install float with arrow pointing down.
Install the lower stop for the second highestfloat by placing the stop on the mark made in step a.
Repeat steps e through g for the remaining twofloats (all arrows should be pointing down for all floats).
Check continuity for all floats (you should seecontinuity for all
