The new toggle switch can be installed on all earlier machines if all the parts that follow are installed. See the topic "INSTALLATION".
The 7K1886 Heater Group is canceled at the same time the new 1V6652 Toggle Switch is used. Its replacement is the 1V6512 Heater Group.INSTALLATION:
Disconnect batteries before performing service work.
1. Remove the 7K2251 Plate from the instrument panel.2. Disconnect the 9K5014 Heater Switch Assembly from the 7K2481 Wire Assembly and remove the switch.3. Disconnect the 7K2481 Wire Assembly from the fuse and heater motor.4. Remove the right floor plate. Install the 4V3675 Bracket to the support of the heater motor (see Illustration 1).

Illustration 2. Installation of new switch.5. Assemble the 2G413 Resistor to the bracket with the 7K6536 Rivets (see View A-A of Illustration 2).6. Install the 4V3679 Plate on the instrument panel. Remove the 7K2337 Film (earlier wiring diagram) and install a new 4V3717 Film.7. Install the 4V3676 Wire Assembly, 4V8776 Harness Assembly and 4V8777 Harness Assembly as shown on the new film and in Illustration 2.8. Install right floor plate and check heater operation.
