Blocks must be used between the front suspension cylinder and the spindle, or under the frame of the machine as a support to hold the machine when the nitrogen is discharged from the cylinder.
... Remove the nitrogen from the front suspension cylinder.... Remove the four 1D4610 Bolts that hold the 2G6478 Cap to the frame.
... Move the cap up as far as possible and fasten in place.
... Remove the four 2D2285 Bolts and 3B4506 Lockwashers that hold the 8J9940 Cover Assembly to the cylinder head.
... Lift the cover assembly (it cannot be removed), then remove the 1D4608 Bolts that hold the head to the cylinder. To remove all of the bolts, the head will have to be turned.
... Move the bearing cap and the head as necessary to remove the head.
