1 1 8R-2916 Cover As Apply ultra black Loctite 598 to the horn button by applying 3 mm (0.1 inch) continuous bead on metal mating surfaces.
2 1 6V-8227 Nut Torque to 37 7 N m (27 5 lb ft).
3 1 8R-2918 Knob As Torque to 12.5 3.0 N m (110.6 26.6 lb in).
4 1 420-4376 Steering Column Gp Install the boot (8) over clean shaft splines.
Then, apply 1P-0808 Multipurpose Grease to shaft splines and lightly coat the boot face. Do not apply grease to the shaft taper end or hole of the boot (8) that contacts with shaft taper end.
5 4 8T-6466 Bolt Before assembly , apply blue Loctite 243 to the threads.
Torque to 35 5 N m (26 4 lb ft).
6 1 353-5936 Flow Control Valve Gp Apply 1P-0808 Multipurpose Grease to internal splines of the flow control valve group.
Then, assemble the flow control valve group to the column support.
7 4 8T-4138 Bolt Torque to 6 1 N m (53 9 lb in).
